Under general supervision but works independently most of the time in a call center and processing team. Responsible for focusing on complex procedures and transactions within the Benefit Payments Participant Servicing Team, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines and/or process. Analytically and procedurally competent, representing the team on cross-function process or project deliverables. Manage daily operational/workflow activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees but not a formal management role. Provides input into performance management and career development processes, and staffing and disciplinary actions.
Responsible for but not limited to:
Lead Training
General coordination of team activities and projects
Participant Complaint Resolution
Assist with audits
Update/Create Procedures
Call Monitoring and Quality Control
Direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
Serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
Manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees but not a formal management role
More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas
Delivers a work product that requires less revision
Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions
Qualifications - Internal
A college degree and/or relevant call center work experience is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. In-depth client servicing/ industry knowledge is required. Must be highly flexible and adapt to change
