Tech Delivery Lead (Hybrid)

In this role, you'll direct technical resources, foster cross-organizational communication for project-based work, and transform strategic visions into tangible realities. Be the catalyst that drives our projects to be on time, within budget, and always aligned with our groundbreaking IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the technical execution plan for core and non-core systems, serving as the architect who brings together strategy and technical design. Champion the creation and maintenance of detailed technical documentation (e.g., Visio diagrams) of project artifacts, reviewing them with Solution Architects for compliance with organizational technical standards. Ensure secure development processes are adhered to, conducting periodic code reviews and pre-implementation security reviews. Provide strategic technical assistance and support to the Quality Assurance (QA) Lead and Business Units during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and non-functional testing phases. Partner with the QA Lead to coordinate automated testing scripts and monitor their results on project-specific and maintenance-related activities. Lead the development and refinement of project delivery templates, tools, and processes, including IT project plans, resource plans, and progress metrics. Work closely with Project Managers to understand the impact of technical design on schedule, resources, and budget. Assist in developing standards, methodologies, and processes for development (DevOps/CICD), testing, security, and release management. Provide robust technical guidance within corporate projects, contributing your expertise to the realization of business objectives. Facilitate onboarding processes for new team members, outlining necessary hardware needs and configurations to support successful project delivery.

What you need

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Proven ability to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures. Proficiency in major tasks, deliverables, and formal application delivery methodologies.

Preferred Experience:

Advanced Degree in a related field. 10+ years of relevant experience. Insurance industry experience. Prior experience in a technical leadership role, ideally involving DevOps/CICD and secure development processes. Extensive experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation (such as Visio diagrams). Solid understanding of IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA). Proven expertise in resource and hardware planning to support successful project delivery. Exceptional project planning, resource management, and coordination skills. Excellent communication skills, with a knack for onboarding resources and coordinating efforts.

Salary Range: $111,200-$150,000

The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.
