Job Summary: Cabin Interiors Technician III

The Cabin Interiors Technician III position is designed for individuals with less than five years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience, making it ideal for recent graduates from Technical or AP schools.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Tasks: Remove, clean, inspect, repair, and reinstall cabin furnishings and equipment such as galleys, lavatories, seats, overhead compartments, panels, and carpeting.Seat Repair and Installation: Perform repairs, adjustments, and installations of aircraft seats.Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, engineering documents, service bulletins, and manuals; conduct complex cabin reconfigurations.Tool Proficiency: Utilize tools effectively; understand measurements using micrometers, depth gauges, and dial calipers.Corrosion Treatment: Clean and treat metal surfaces for corrosion per manufacturer specifications; apply corrosion preventatives appropriately.Sheet Metal Repairs: Accomplish simple sheet metal repairs or replacements and fabricate replacement panels using samples.Sealing Procedures: Understand and practice basic sealing procedures; identify pressurized areas of the aircraft.Inspection Access: Open and close necessary areas for inspection; may perform bonded repairs on honeycomb structures.Compliance: Ensure work meets FAA and customer standards; adhere to safety procedures and company policies.Training and Development: Attend work-related training and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.Job Summary: Cabin Interiors Technician III
