Responsibilities Performs clinical laboratory testing requiring the exercise of independent judgment and discretion as per established procedures that includes: Bacteriology, Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Serology, and Urinalysis. Performs phlebotomy duties as required and is assigned supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: Certification as a Medical Technologist by ASCP, NCA, or HEW. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to perform phlebotomy duties for neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. Graduate from an approved school of medical technology preferred.
