Onsite Environmental Assistance Program\n
Essential Functions and Responsibilities\n\nEnsures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.\nAssist customer onsite with waste management program such as waste collection, bulking, waste area inspections.\nAssist Field Chemist in the segregation of chemicals by hazardous class\nUtilize thorough knowledge of storing and processing procedures based on Customer's SOPs and Heritage's protocols.\nDevelop good client relationships by effectively communicating with customers\nCommunicate effectively with project manager regarding customer's needs.\nPerform basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties.\nOperate a fork truck, skid-steer with attachments.\n\n

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some science college courses preferred.\n
Experience: 1 year of related experience required. 40 hour HAZWOPER Training completion required.\n
Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Good working knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations required. Good knowledge of general industry practices required. Ability to lift 60 pounds. Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.\n
