Tech Supervisor Chemistry- Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Chemistry Lab Supervisor to join our Clinical Lab team! **Employment Type:** Full Time **Shift:** . 1 FTE, 40 hours per week, Day shift. Per department needs **Summary:** In cooperation with Director, assures that all technical responsibilities are addressed: Selection of test methodology; establish precision and accuracy; enroll and participate in HHS approved PT program; establish quality control program appropriate for the testing performed and establish acceptable levels of analytic performance; resolve technical problems and ensure that remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from established performance specifications; ensure that patient results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and system is functioning properly; identify training needs and assure that regular training is provided; oversee competency of all personnel; participate/contribute to annual performance evaluation of testing personnel. Operate analyzers and assist with testing when needed.
