Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate to join their national Privacy Litigation team. This position is open to all offices, with a preference for Los Angeles.

Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Active Bar Admission in the state for which the office you are applying is required. Privacy litigation preferred but not required. Significant litigation experience, including managing all elements of case work-up and trial preparation. Strong legal research and writing skills, with experience drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests. Knowledge and experience with federal, state, and international privacy laws are a plus. Practical advice-giving ability, along with superior communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ambition, drive, and a team-oriented approach to support and grow the national practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of tech transactions and data privacy incident response cases, from case work-up to trial preparation. Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, complaints, and motions. Provide practical advice on sophisticated tech transactions and data privacy matters. Engage directly with clients and contribute to the development of case strategy.

A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
