Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Recruiter specializing in the Water/Wastewater industry, you will be essential in identifying, attracting, and hiring high-caliber candidates for various organizational roles. You will be responsible for recruiting talent and ensuring the right candidates are placed in positions that drive the success of our water/wastewater projects and operations. Your expertise in sourcing candidates through networking, social media, and industry connections will be key in building a strong candidate pipeline. This position is on-site for the first 90 days and then Hybrid after.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage recruitment for assigned positions.
+ Build and sustain a robust candidate pipeline for positions requiring specialized water/wastewater operations skills.
+ Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
+ Collaborate with hiring managers and department leaders to understand specific role requirements and provide tailored recruitment strategies.
+ Leverage recruitment tools to track candidates and streamline the hiring process.
+ Attend industry conferences, job fairs, and networking events to source candidates and improve the company’s brand.
+ Provide a positive and professional experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Demonstrable experience recruiting for the Water/Wastewater industry, with specific knowledge or focus on HMI and SCADA systems.
+ Solid understanding of the water/wastewater industry, including the latest trends and technologies in water management, SCADA, and HMI systems.
+ Extensive experience applying networking, LinkedIn, and social media platforms to source and attract candidates.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
+ Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
+ Familiarity with industry certifications and technical qualifications related to HMI and SCADA systems is a plus.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
+ Previous experience recruiting for engineering, operations, and technical positions within the water/wastewater industry.
+ Certifications in recruitment or human resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS, etc.).
+ Experience with technical assessments or interviewing candidates for highly specialized roles.
+ Solid understanding of recruiting for SCADA and HMI system configurations, applications, and technical support.
