What You Will Do

You will work with Altair’s strategic Aerospace & Defense clients to solve challenges, enhance value, and drive business efficiency through our cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Account Managers throughout the sales cycle, from strategy to post-sales.Deliver technical content, including presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.Establish long-term client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.Identify opportunities to expand product usage and displace competition.Provide customer feedback to influence product development and strategy.Support account-based marketing strategies and technology adoption.Assess client technical needs and optimize their engineering workflows.Conduct training sessions for customers as needed.Stay updated on software developments and contribute to future improvements.

 

What You Will Need

Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineeringItalian CitizenshipMinimum 5 years at an Aerospace OEM or Tier 1 Aerospace SupplierHands-on experience with commercial CAE toolsProficiency in Altair HyperWorks, OptiStruct, RADIOSS, or similar simulation softwareFamiliarity with Aerospace processes and standards (e.g., Regulations, MMPDS)Strong problem-solving and communication skillsWillingness to travel to customer sitesProfessionalism and business acumenCommercial awareness and attention to detailStrong analytical and communication abilitiesTeamwork and interpersonal skillsFluent in English (oral & written)Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

 

Experience with multiple CAE tools across disciplinesProgramming skills (TCL/Python)Knowledge of FEA-based optimization for composite and metallic structuresPrior experience in a pre-sales role within a software company
