(HYBRID) Senior Technical Accountant

Description

•\tParticipates in all aspects of the management, coordination, preparation, tie-out and review of the quarterly Form 10-Q and annual 10-K filings with the SEC, as well as filings on Form 8-K and other required SEC filings.

•\tPrepares financial statements of CFC affiliates in compliance with US GAAP.

•\tCompletes GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists to ensure compliance with reporting and disclosure requirements.

•\tCompletes and reviews XBRL tagging of financial statements and footnotes.

•\tProvides guidance on the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and incorporates into reporting to ensure new GAAP and SEC reporting requirements are met.

•\tReviews, researches, interprets and provides technical support on accounting issues to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and SEC regulations.

•\tActs as a subject matter resource on certain reporting and accounting issues.

•\tCoordinates with internal stakeholders and external auditors on quarterly reviews and year-end audits.

•\tWorks closely with Investor Relations to prepare and review investors and rating agencies presentation slides.

•\tPrepares materials for the board of directors’ meetings.

•\tPrepares the accounting analysis for new lease transactions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\tBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

•\tAt least 5 years previous accounting experience.

•\tCPA or CPA candidate preferred

•\tPrevious financial institution is preferred.

•\tExperience with Workiva preferred

•\tStrong understanding of US GAAP and SEC Rules and regulations.

•\tStrong ability to draft financial statements and related disclosures.

•\tAdvanced research and analytical abilities.

•\tStrong accounting, financial analysis and problem solving skills .

•\tStrong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate complex financial reporting issues.

•\tStrong Excel skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

•\tProven attention to detail.

•\tStrong project management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision

•\tAbility to use standard office equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
