Technical Accounting Manager

Accounting - is at the forefront of providing financial information to a wide range of stakeholders including investors, regulatory authorities and the business at large. We are looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for overseeing a team ensuring financial statements are presented accurately. How you’ll make an impact: + Oversee financial statement preparation + Develop technical accounting standards for stock comp, revenue recognition, SOX level controls and three way match and develop documentation thereof + Responsible for being the key contact overseeing the external audit + Determine the company’s public company GAAP polices + Be a key role player in technological advancements pertaining to the ERP (such as 3 way match implementation.) + Have the ability to present technical memos for complex transactions for submission to external auditors + Oversee team members ensuring the teams are adequately functioning and resourced as well as assist in career development of subordinates + Assist in stat/due diligence audits when the need arises + Work cross functionally to ensure all areas of the business are apprised of developments that may affect them + Key member in the closing of financial periods + Develop process improvements to allow the acceleration of month end close About you: + At least 3 years of public company accounting experience in audit + CPA designation is required + In depth knowledge of AICPA and PCAOB standards required + Group Consolidation experience + Experience using Netsuite or similar ERP is a key requirement + Analytical and strong leadership skills This is an L4 role.
