Kforce has a client in Marlborough, MA that is seeking a Technical Accounting & Reporting Manager. This position is hybrid - 2-3 days in office. Some highlights include: * This is a new role - it's evolving and there's a chance to make it your own * Highly exposed position - work with different departments like FP&A and Tax * The company is doing well and has plans for future acquisitions Duties: * Technical Accounting & Reporting Manager will research and analyze complex accounting issues and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with accounting standards, complex accounting topics and ad hoc request to the Corporate Controller and CFO * Ensure company complies with all SEC regulations and requirements related to the financial reporting * Handle complex transactions such as Mergers and Acquisition, due diligence, Purchase Price accounting and documentation also integration of acquisitions * Routine month-end activity * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of business transactions * As a Technical Accounting & Reporting Manager, you will assist with external audits * Develop and deliver technical accounting training to finance and accounting teams * Stay up to date on emerging accounting issues and best practices
