Focus:  The Technical Advisor is responsible for the safe operation of Chlorine Liquefaction processes. The Technical Advisor will partner with plant production engineers, leadership, plant training coordinator, and other technical advisors to coach and enhance the technical capabilities of the production team.  


Technical Advisor Essential Job Functions:

Assists operations with troubleshooting plant process issues, identifies areas of improvement, and implements operating discipline improvements Assists in training of new operators/staff and enhances front line skills and knowledge through coaching, teaching, and mentoring Coordinates and assists with procedure development and review; Assists with implementation of the work processes/Olin Management System (OMS) in the department to facilitate achievement of goals for the unit; Performs or assists in process related Root Cause or failure analysis Coordinates with other functions or areas of expertise to resolve EH&S and reliability issues; this includes being an active participant in department EH&S program including spending time in field with other team members coaching and providing feedback regarding implementation of EH&S programs and policies Coordinates start-up/shutdown and maintenance plans for the Liquefaction assets; responsible for job description/plans, including job isolation and red tag packages

Technical Advisor Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree* in related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting; Olin experience preferred Strong writing, communication, organization skills, and experience using Microsoft applications; SAP experience preferred Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's License
