Salary:Pay Commensurate with Experience Location: East Lansing Categories: On-Call, Temporary Position Summary(Basic Job Function) This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions. Unit Position Summary + Participate interactively in rapid design cycles for scientific instrument development, including communication with scientists and engineers. + Develop and produce components for prototypes. Using additive manufacturing (3D printing) and related tools. + Perform quality control and testing of devices + Actively collaborative with scientists and outdoor research teams to ensure rapid development cycles.
