Job Description A large pharmaceutical client is looking for a Technical Analyst to join their robust Quantitative Bioassay Data Team. They are replacing their R&D Data Management Platform, IDBS data management solution that provides centralized platform for storing, organizing and analyzing data to improve data quality and drive innovation in drug development. The IDBS project efforts will require a technical analyst who has worked on 1-2 projects working with the software vendor and the business to implement either Sigilon Software Suite (SLTx) or Genedata Screener. They will be a part of the research labs IT divisions QB Team: Quantitative Bioassay Data Team. The QB Team involves measuring the biological response on a continuous scale, such as growth rate, enzyme activity, or physiological changes. It provides an accurate and reproducible estimate of the concentration of an analyte. The technical analyst should be a problem solver with proven experience, someone who can work independently and contribute to the conversations. They will be expected to be fully engaged with their team, take ownership, pursue a solution and technical. They should be able to work with the team but do not need their hand held, strong critical thinking skills. The Technical Analys will be working with the Product Analyst and Team leader on product backlogs in JIRA converting them into SDLC artifacts, through UAT interpreter liaison to the business for the team. Previous experience working as a liaison between IT, Business, and Scientific Community is required for this role. The goal of the IBDS implementation effort is to streamline data analysis and automate workflows across different screening technologies; essentially acting as a comprehensive data management tool for screening experiments. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience as Technical Analyst for R&D IT, Lab Research IT, Drug Discovery Research Space, and/or Biology or Chemistry background with strong understanding of Quantitative Bioassay Registration  Recent experience implementing IBDS Solutions: Genedata Screener and/or Sigilon SLTx for at least 1-2 projects within the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences industry: more specifically within R&D IT, Research/Labs IT, Drug Discovery Research space  Experience Scientific Informatics Platforms: Sigilon Therapeutics SLTx platform differentiates stem cells into the appropriate cell type and/or Genedata Screener, a software platform designed to analyze, visualize, and manage all types of in-vitro screening data from various assays within a single software environment Expert with Data and IT software to work with end users/ business clients executing R&D IT projects, taking in requirements, working on use cases for features/customizations within the tool, configuring this assay and translating how they would set that up in the vendor package. They should be comfortable working with the vendors on technical issues.  Knowledge of Single Sign On and IT Security fundamentals Statistical calculations providing data on compounds that come through the pipeline, the software supports their compound screening QBS group a lot of the base research operating plan assays.  They should have experience At least one if not multiple at least one of these software packages at other companies that knows their way around, set of requirements configure this assay and take that and translate how they would set that up in the vendor package.
