Technical and Compliance Manager

Education: minimum bachelor’s degree in science or engineering from a reputable University

Working experience:

Minimum 4 years as technical and compliance for management system certification body and experience in managing accreditations.Minimum 4 years as management system auditor of at least one (1) standard

Technical qualification: 

Minimum 4 years qualified as IRCA Lead Auditor for management systems.Attended course and has comprehensive knowledge and understanding for accreditation requirements for certification body such as ISO 17021, ISO 17065 and knowledge on ISO 17029 is added advantage.

Other requirements:

Language: English, verbal and writtenExcellent verbal communication as well as written communication skillAble to demonstrate good audit reporting, presentation, and tutorial skill.Having systematic, risk base analysis thinking.Able to demonstrate coaching and supervisory skillProven leadership skills with ability to engage, collaborate and influence at operational levelStrong technical background, with knowledge of business processesProven experience in a commercial/international environmentKnowledge and experience of managing/leading business processes and accreditation mattersWilling to travel on business if needed.Good influencing and leadership qualities – must have the ability to lead team and influence other stakeholders across all within the organization in the assigned cluster / country and the wider business.Ability to build and maintain effective build relationships across a matrix organization utilizing all means of communication and engagement.Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.Be self-motivated, flexible, with excellent time management/planning, and problem-solving skills.

Main role:

Deploy and maintain global policy, procedure, guidance to be effectively implemented in BSI Thailand:

Planning and implementing T&C activities through Annual Programme to be reviewed monthly Awareness program to all employee Internal communication for any update global policy, procedure and guidance Initiate and organized internal audit Monitor follow up of internal audit result thru entropy

Risk and Compliance Maintain, update and report risk registration – completed with risk mitigation Liaise with local country in support of risk and compliance Internal Coordinator for audit by Group/Global Risk and Compliance Monitor follow up of audit result by Group/Global Risk and Compliance Escalation of issues that may impact business, reputation, accreditation within 24 hours to Head of T&C, Regional/ Global T&C Director

Managing accreditation Support the T&C ASEAN Head for Thailand Compliance activities Be a contact person for global accreditation (e.g. ANAB, UKAS, etc) and local accreditation. Liaise/communicate with accreditation body, where necessary Provide awareness program on accreditation requirements to all employee Support in the maintenance of local/global accreditation and ensure Sales, Operations and relevant processes implements processes in accordance with BSI policies, procedures and accreditation requirements Manage internal audit activities in line with the global internal audit programme and in accordance with accreditation requirements Monitor follow up, close and response to relevant external audit

Customer Complaint and Non-conformance Register any customer complaint and non-conformance (internal and external) Coordinating follow up of customer complaint and non-conformance with relevant stake holder Monitor, verify and close follow up action by relevant stake holder to ensure that NCs raised are closed before due dates.

Feedback to T&C Leadership Team – Monthly Report T&C monthly report as requested (Region and Global) Oversight activities -country. Internal Audit External Audit Accreditation Status Customer complaints status Non-conformance status Other report that may be requested from time to time
