Job Profile
Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Technical Change Lead to support this transformative journey. Reporting directly to Head of ITSM Standards and Tools, you will be responsible for managing the technical change management process, including overseeing the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and ensuring that all IT changes are effectively planned, communicated, and implemented. This role is crucial in minimizing risk and ensuring the stability and reliability of our IT systems. You will closely collaborate with IT stakeholders to identify technical change needs and develop joint strategies for BC Digital. This role will also act as a backup for Problem and Knowledge Management.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
Lead and manage the Change Advisory Board (CAB), ensuring that change requests are reviewed, evaluated, and approved in a timely manner. Develop and enforce change management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the smooth and controlled implementation of IT changes. Oversee the end-to-end change management process, from initiation and assessment to planning, implementation, and review. Collaborate with IT and Application teams, project managers, ITSM teams, and business stakeholders to assess the impact and risk of proposed changes and ensure alignment with business goals and objectives. Communicate and manage expectations with stakeholders regarding potential change-related impacts. Ensure that all changes are documented accurately, and relevant information is communicated to all affected parties. Monitor and report on change management metrics, such as change success rates, incident and problem trends related to changes, and overall change management effectiveness. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the change management process and implement enhancements as needed. Facilitate post-implementation reviews and retrospectives to evaluate the success of technical changes and identify lessons learned. Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the technical change management process. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in technical change management. Act as a backup for Problem and Knowledge management areas. Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) to identify underlying issues causing recurring incidents, and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions. Support end-to-end problem management lifecycle, from problem detection and analysis to resolution and closure, ensuring that all problems are managed effectively.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
Minimum of 12 years of proven experience in technical change management (primary), problem and knowledge management, and related industry practices (e.g. ITIL) Demonstrated experience in setting up and leading a Change Advisory Board Deep knowledge of change management practices, frameworks and tools e.g. ServiceNow, JIRA Independent and self-driven personality, taking responsibility and owning tasks Possesses good problem-solving skills and structured way of working Openness to try and learn new technologies and skills Good written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate problems to non-technical audiences
