Technical Client Advisor Europe M/F

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team. This role will be based in Bruxelles. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

For its operations in Continental Europe, Guy Carpenter is looking to reinforce its Advisory practice that is supporting clients solutions for capital, volatility and growth management. Primary location for the role will be Brussels but other locations in Continental Europe are possible. The new position is aimed to support our advisory marketing and projects across Continental Europe.

We will count on you to:

As a member of our Europe Advisory team, you’ll work alongside colleagues of all levels and clients in the region to solve complex capital, volatility and growth problems and drive meaningful change.  Project-related activities include conducting research, surveys and interviews and analysing data to gain insights, assess problems and structure solutions. Supports standard and highly-customized advisory projects in order to model, quantify, and forecast risk, cost, capital and financial impact (for example Solvency II and capital/volatility analyses) for non-life and life clients.Summarises clients key financial and regulatory information and develops national and regional benchmarks.Review and validate the work of analysts, ensuring technical accuracy and integrity on a wide variety of analyses, templates and exhibitsDemonstrated ability to join existing projects, taking ownership of project task/responsibilities, and ensuring seamless client communicationWorks to develop business by networking with brokerage or advisory colleagues across different offices, identifying potential areas of business growth in existing projects, and responding to requests for proposals or information.Prepare and/or oversee production exhibits and written reports to present findingsAssist or lead in the preparation of proposals and presentations, , including information about project assumptions, findings, implications, nuances, and solutions (as applicable).attend client meetings, marketing/sales presentations as requiredEnsures all documents produced adhere to established standards and to ensure quality control of final product.Develops the intellectual capital of the business, including researching regulation requirements and drafting industry benchmarking reports, in order to further develop the company's offerings, as well as personal knowledge of insurance services and products.

What you need to have: 

Actuarial, financial or economic degreeGood understanding of Solvency II and IFRSReinsurance knowledgeData managementExceptional organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholdersProven ability to foster a culture of inclusiveness, innovation, and continuous improvement within the practice and across the broader organizationWillingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and business development activitiesSelf-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to develop client-oriented solutionsStrong command of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.R, Power BI, or Databricks experience a plus
