Technical Cloud Lead Architect
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure & AWS Cloud Lead Architect with over 8-12 years of extensive expertise in cloud architecture and solutions. Candidate should possess deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Azure and AWS, holding certifications as Azure and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professionals. The Cloud Lead Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing end-to-end IT infrastructure management solutions on public and private cloud platforms, driving efficiency improvements and cost savings for our clients. Candidate is expected to have additional knowledge on Google Cloud, VMWare cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Architect having 16+ years of experience with specialty on Azure & AWS.
2. Extensive AZURE and AWS knowledge (AZURE and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional) & extensive hands-on experience.
3. Design & Plan end-to-end IT Infrastructure management on public & private Cloud and Cloud Infrastructure solutions that directly results in efficiency improvements & cost saving.
4. Proven experience as a Cloud Architect handling medium to large-scale cloud migrations.
5. Have a view on Application perspective to advise on Discovery & Assessment related to Application portfolio.
6. They develop a cloud strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives and define the roadmap for cloud adoption and migration. Design them on appropriate cloud service providers (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and design the cloud environment to meet scalability, availability, and performance requirements.
7. Designing HLD and LLD for migrating on-premises servers to cloud on Azure & AWS.
8. Expertise in building enterprise class Cloud landing zone and foundational services.
9. Design comprehensive cloud infrastructures, including network architecture, storage solutions, and security measures.
10. Plan and execute migrations of applications and infrastructure to the cloud.
11. Integrate cloud services with on-premises systems or other cloud platforms to create hybrid environments.
12. Design and implement DevOps pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
13. Create Terraform templates for landing zone creation & infrastructure provisioning using Terraform/ARM templates.
14. Experience of designing DevOps pipeline using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps & GitHub
15. Expertise in tools like Terraform, ARM Templates. Develop CI/CD process for deployments.
16. Overall design experience for network / security / generic infrastructure and supporting services in Azure & AWS
17. Experience with setting up load balancers, cloud networks, and virtual servers.
18. Experience with architecting and implementing microservices-based architectures and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
19. Experience on working with Azure migrate, Azure Database Migration, Storage migration.
20. Hands on experience on Azure VM, Load Balancers, Blob storage, auto Scaling, Load Balancer, Networking, Azure monitor, Azure SQL DBs setup
21. Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud solutions according to business requirements and best practices.
22. Architect highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications and infrastructure on AWS.
23. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
24. Optimize AWS environments for performance, cost, and security.
25. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure.
26. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on AWS best practices and technologies.
27. Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud architecture and processes.
28. In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.
29. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
30. Ownership of issues, including collaboration with other teams and escalation
31. Implement and maintain robust security measures, including access controls, data encryption, and vulnerability management, to safeguard systems and data.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Azure and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certifications required.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Azure and AWS.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
