Description
We are offering a contract for a Technical Coach in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is within the Information Technology industry, and the job function revolves around guiding product teams towards achieving company objectives using modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities include:
• Guiding product teams towards achieving company objectives using exemplary and modern engineering practices.
• Working closely with technical teams and leadership to influence and support the engineering culture.
• Serving as an expert on modern technology architecture, engineering, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborating with product teams to improve customer delivery.
• Mentoring software teams, including engineers and architects, in learning and applying new problem-solving methods.
• Leading large pairing or mobbing sessions to maximize learning while focusing on specific tasks.
• Designing and developing facilitator-led materials related to modern engineering practices.
• Contributing real-world software engineering experience to help build a viable community of technical coaches and practitioners.
• Embedding with teams to understand their environment and behaviors to design impactful coaching interventions.
• Developing and implementing coaching interventions for teams, including software engineers and architects.
• Demonstrating preferred team behaviors and embodying the desired culture.
Requirements • Proficiency in customer service practices
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to produce clear and concise documentation
• Knowledge of materials handling processes
• Extensive experience in design
• Familiarity with 'About Time' software
• Comfortable navigating the internet
• Understanding of medical coverage policies
• Proven leadership skills
• Engineering background
• Willingness to travel as required
• Knowledge of detail oriented practices
• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Experience with metric reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Skill in optimization techniques
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
• Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Python
• Knowledge of cloud technologies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams
• Experience working with suppliers
• Proficiency in Java
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
