Technical Coordinator

Volt is immediately hiring a Technical Coordinator who is Bilingual English/ Korean in Irvine, CA.

\r\n\r\n

As a Technical Coordinator who is Bilingual English/Korean you will:

\r\n\r\n

Work closely with the Technical Coordinator Team to gather and organize data and compile reports for management. Act as liaison between Irvine and Korea HQ.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Responsibilities:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tEffectively communicate with various personnel regarding product issues, changes, and new product development on assigned product(s)\r\n\tRoutinely update and distribute new technical information to Technical Managers and team members\r\n\tAssist in quality control measures including return unit/parts testing and field reported issues on all products, assist on products as needed\r\n\tResearch new technological developments and regulation changes in the market to assist in product development\r\n\tCoordinate and support testing/operations of new and ongoing prototype testing and installations in the field\r\n\tVisit various residential and commercial sites with others to provide technical and translating support\r\n\tAssist in improving existing technical information, communications, and processes for outside communications (manuals, technical bulletins, training, etc.)\r\n\tMaintain open communication with other departments and/or outside sales representatives in the resolution of issues or concerns\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAssist in purchasing various HVAC tech related equipment and parts based on HQ’s request\r\n\tCoordinate high priority domestic and international shipments utilizing DHL, FedEx, a freight forwarder, and other shipping methods\r\n\tUtilize SAP and other client proprietary software to gather data, support personnel, and update product information\r\n\tOnce per quarter, travel domestically or to Canada for 2 to 3 days\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a Full time Direct Hire opportunity

\r\n\r\n

Required Experience:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tOne year of proven hands-on technical capability\r\n\tMust be able to fluently understand, speak, and write Korean\r\n\tMust be fluent in English with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills\r\n\tExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)\r\n\tEffective collaboration and team player\r\n\tOrganizational, time management and priority skills are a must\r\n\tOne a quarter, ability to travel domestically or to Canada for 2-3 days\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\t2+ years’ experience in an HVAC or plumbing industry a plus\r\n\tAbility to translate technical documents from Korean to English\r\n\tExperience or understanding of Korean work culture\r\n\tExperience in SAP a plus\r\n\r\n\r\n

Salary Range $27.00/hr. -$30.50/hr.
