Micron is hiring a SSD Technical Customer Manager in Longmont, CO or Boise, ID!

This is an exceptionally outstanding opportunity to support Micron's Enterprise and Hyperscale datacenter customers team! The role is the primary interface between the customer and engineering/design centers, developing a long term relationship with the customer to support streamlined communication and qualification efforts that facilitates products being qualified in target customer applications with maximum efficiency. Acting as a subject matter expert on the customer for product qualification requirements, resulting in a reduced time to market. You will proactively define qualification requirements and processes to shape a qualification plan that ensures success, provide an interface for the customer to engineering groups and design centers, and communicate customer qualification requirements and status to management, sales and development teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Technical Customer Manager will:

Coordinate the qualification of new product introductions (NPI) at targeted customers and their OEM/ODM partnersGather customer qualification requirements and test requirements, aligning these with Micron design teamsDefine and complete customer plans and schedulesManage partner concerns by prioritizing issue resolution, closure, and corrective actionProvide technical and business input to support argumentsManage regular customer communication and associated action logsEnsure sample requirements are identified and completed for your customerProvide regular qualification status updates to Micron managementHandle configuration management and approvals for sample and production unitsDrive customer change management processesCollaborate with Micron development and validation teams on the customer qualification process as well as critical customer requirements

Successful candidates for this position will have:Demonstrated project management skills, executive presentation abilities, and customer relationship management experienceA minimum of a Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE preferredMinimum 8 years of storage or related high-tech experience, including interaction with sales, customers, engineers, and product development teamsMinimum 3 years of Cloud/Hyperscale or Cloud/Hyperscale ecosystem customer experienceKnowledge of OEM product qualification processes and a broad understanding of the storage industryA strong, driven personality who can advocate for the customer within the design teamDemonstrated business insight to understand and communicate customer impacts and trade-offsFlexibility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as requiredAbility to relay technical information to and from the customer verbally and in writing at a professional level

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$141,500.00 - $260,500.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
