Job Description

This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening.  For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.
Technical Customer Support Specialist        
Job Responsibilities                                              
Your specific duties as a Technical Customer Support Specialist will include:            The main function of a Customer Support Specialist is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. A typical Customer Support Specialist is responsible for determining the client’s issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. Call center service agents may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both. Resolve customers’ service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills. Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments. Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

Job Requirements
As a Technical Customer Support Specialist you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.  It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous customer service related experience required.
