Responsibilities: * The Technical Data Analyst will work as an integral member within the Global Strategy & Operations Team, with a focus on innovation and analytics providing a key data science component to support the development and execution of global strategy, research, innovation, and operations projects * Provide strong connection and support to strategy and operations managers by developing analytical solutions to address and improve KPI's and business results * Pursues problem identification and impact across large vehicle populations, leveraging data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and visualization techniques to further enhance insight and internal performance optimization * Perform in-depth analysis and design search patterns * Develop automation tools for data mining and reduction * Mentor junior researchers and data scientists to enhance their analytical skills * Foster a collaborative learning environment within the research and strategy team * Continuously update knowledge on the latest software and hardware innovations and ideate on how to apply * Identify and implement cutting-edge solutions to meet research and strategy objectives * Establish strong working relationships with interdisciplinary teams including Enterprise Data and Analytics and IT * The Technical Data Analyst will review research and strategy project requirements and apply appropriate statistical techniques to data * Drive the acquisition of new data and refine existing datasets * Ensure data quality and relevance for ongoing research and strategy projects
