Technical Designer
Our client, in New York City, NY is seeking a **Technical Designer/Fashion Designer** to join their team. **Job Title: Technical Deisgner** **Location: New York City, NY** **Pay Range: $40-43/hr** **What’s the Job?** + Support the technical design team in partnering with Design and Merchant teams as well as other cross functional associates including Raw Material, Regional TD, Product Development, Product Performance, Production & Sourcing, QA and Vendors and trim/component suppliers. + Being flexible to work within different categories and taking responsibility for the technical development of new styles and application of all quality standards relating to fit and construction. + Ensure garment consistency across product categories, analyze and communicate risk during development cycle and continuously seek to drive product improvements to ensure best in class fit, comfort and performance with goal of consistently exciting our customers and exceeding wearing expectations. **What’s Needed?** + Degree in Technical Design or Fashion design + 5-7 years of experience + Technical design skills (specifically intimates, sport bras, and shapewear if possible) + Organizational skills (for proto samples, fit comments, calendar updates, etc) + Knowledge of patternmaking & sample fit + Outlook + Excel **What’s in it for me?** + Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision & 401k) + Experis Academy + Contract If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
