This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, Security and Test Operations. This includes providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams and locations.
As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, and engineers you will work with designers to generate models and drawings for test systems around the country.

Being at the heart of Blue Origin operations, the West Texas Site in Van Horn, TX offers eligible employee’s additional attractive financial incentives to supplement their competitive base earnings, including a living allowance and relocation assistance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
High-level technical design support using advanced CAD and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.Utilize Creo and Windchill to create and sustain engineering models for engine and component test stands.Create and maintain advanced 3D models, drawings and product structures.Application of relevant company, industry (design, drafting, parts) techniques to plan, lay-out, and maintain data depicting engineering designs (detail, assembly and installation drawings or datasets)Initiate and maintain contact with stakeholders for clarification, coordination and negotiation of critical issues.Identify opportunities and recommendations for implementing workflow efficiencies.Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organizationGenerate change notices within Windchill for release and revision processingDirect efforts for external contract design support teams assisting Blue Origin.Peer review/check drawings and modelsMinimum Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in a technical design roleStrong mechanical design and integration skills using PTC Creo, WindchillExperience using Creo Parametric PipingExperience managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawingsStrong coordination and leadership skillsAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant aerospace industry experienceKnowledge of standard components, installation and fabrication methods of piping systems (pipe stock, fittings, connections, valves, fasteners, structural members, fitting, welding, etc.)Strong expertise in design for manufacturability and design for assembly including experience taking products from development design to production and operationGround Support Equipment (GSE) fluids, mechanical, electrical structural or mechanical systems experienceSolid understanding of common manufacturing materials, GD&T, and tolerance/stack-up analysisSolid understanding of common manufacturing processes and machines including pipe welding, mills, lathes, sheet-metal bending, lifting/rigging, assembly, inspection, etc.Experience with ASME B31 and B31.3Experience with ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, Y14.41Compensation Range for:
