Your Role
We are looking for a Technical Designer to join the Atlanta Office. The Technical Designer will be the team member primarily responsible for the documentation of the project, and coordination with the Project Architect on retail rollout projects. With you as part of the design team, architecture has never been so engaging.
What You Will Do
Provides solutions to design problems and generates design plansPrepare and ensure accuracy of constructions documents in alignment with retail guidelinesParticipate in the construction administration of project assignments, including quality controlWorking with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesReviews pricing, materials and customization for projectsProvides design support for completion/execution of design conceptsAbility to work fast and complete task efficiently and effectively.Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school required4-8 years of progressive experienceExperience in retail rolloutKnowledge of Construction Drawings, Codes, permitting, and construction administrationRevit experience requiredComputer skills should include AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp.Collaborative and team-consciousSelf-starting, responsible, and highly motivated individualExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required. Portfolios should include at least 1 project with this particular focus, and candidates should be prepared to talk to this in their interview, especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell and /or Net Zero Building certification.Please include work samples along with your resume and cover letter.Candidates who do not provide work samples AND do not meet the minimum qualifications will not be considered.
