Technical Director, Geotechnical

Responsibilities:

Control and management of the whole life cycle of the projects in the Geotechnical TeamWorking within a multi-discipline team of engineers, technicians and other professionals to develop engineering designs from concept to detailed design and specificationsLiaise with Clients in relation to project progress, decisions and changes to ensure deliverables are met and produced on time and budgetBe a team leader to develop and grow the team with P&L responsibilities Attend design meetings, site meetings and all other project related meetingsResponsible for business proposal/tendering and commercial negotiationsSeek for business opportunities across APAC regions proactively

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with professional qualification in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering or other related disciplinesMembership of HKIE (G) or other equivalent professional bodiesSolid experience in the management of Landslip Prevention and Mitigation Programme or similar projects is highly preferredRegistered Geotechnical Engineer (RGE) qualification is an advantageAt least 12 years’ experience post qualification experience in design / construction management of Geotechnical worksGood interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to delivering schemes to a high technical standard on time and within budgetStrong communication skills and confidence to liaise and develop long term relationships with clients to ensure the commercial and technical success of projectsGood command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
