We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** **Parsons** is looking for an amazingly talented **Technical/Design Director** to join our team in Riyadh! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the project, ensuring that engineering and technical disciplines are properly coordinated and that the project is delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. **What You Will Be Doing:** + Provide technical leadership and direction to the project team + Manage third party design consultants + Ensure that all technical aspects of the project are aligned with the project goals and objectives. + Supervise and participate in advanced complex professional planning activities. + Oversee the design and engineering processes of all disciplines to ensure the design is produced in line with the requirements of the project. + Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions. + Facilitate communication between different technical disciplines and project teams. + Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of technical excellence. + Conduct regular technical audits and reviews to identify and mitigate risks. + Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. + Provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problems. + Manage technical resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. + Ensure that technical teams are adequately staffed and equipped to meet project demands. + Engage with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure their technical requirements and expectations are met. + Represent the project in technical meetings and presentations. + Assist in the development and management of the project budget and schedule from a technical perspective. + Ensure that technical activities are completed on time and within budget. + Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international standards. **What Required Skills You Will Bring:** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/ Architecture Engineering, or a related field + 20+ years of experience in engineering and technical management, in large-scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure and building projects + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Ability to engage effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. + Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. + Proficiency in engineering software and tools. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Proven ability to perform in a supervisory/managerial capacity, with excellent written and oral communication skills. + Strong acumen in sustainable engineering and construction innovations. + Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations. + Thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software for use in completing engineering assignments. + Proven track record of successful project delivery. + Experience in conducting technical audits and reviews. + Knowledge of budget and schedule management from a technical perspective. **What Desired Skills You Will Bring:** + Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
