Job Title Technical Engineer Position Overview Shaw Industries is seeking a Technical Engineer to drive continuous improvement efforts and new product/new equipment development. Responsibilities: + Lead, assist, and/or support continuous quality improvement efforts. + Provide engineering and troubleshooting support to all departments as needed. + Investigate processing and quality problems and implement data driven solutions. + Study processing parameters to improve product performance . Must be able to set up systems to collect and analyze data as well as implement data driven solutions. + Manage the implementation of any process changes. + Develop processing conditions for any new products + Develop quality specs for all new products. + Managing and/or assisting Technical Manager with all new developmental projects. + Assist and lead Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma process and projects. Requirements: + Must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. + Must possess good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
