We are now looking for a Technical SME having strong knowledge of Mobile App Operations (preferably customer self-service area) along with the related backend systems.
This job role is responsible for E2E Service Management in a 24*7 Live environment for managing the Self-Service Application(s) including service availability, incident, changes, release deployment, BCP and continuous service improvement
What you will do
Application & Backend Performance Management
• Maintain production system & ensuring its performance and stability.
• Evaluate performance on day-to-day basis and raise any issues with performance teams.
• Manage Escalations on Application Issues.
• Daily governance with team on application performance and process
Defect & Problem Management: -
• Optimize and improve on system alerts & monitoring.
• Responsible for L2 analysis by analyzing system log, Database, heap dump, thread dumps, PCAP files to trace IT & network defects issues.
• Coordination with L3 Team & Product teams for restoration of any faults
• Reporting of defect status in form of reports
Incident Management: -
• Responsible for Driving E2E closure for Incidents with L3 & Product teams
• Work in tandem with Incident Management for closure of Issues.
• Release Management: -
• Design Review, Test case validation & Deployment of CRs on production environment.
• Ensure production sanity by solving post deployment issues.
• Application patch deployments
• Security Vulnerability review and fix
You will bring
• Education: Graduate in Computer Science or similar
• Experience: 10- 12 years into Oracle WebCenter sites & WebLogic Application Server
• Leadership:- Minimum 3-5 years of team leader experience ( 5 to 10 resources )
Must have/Technical
Sound understanding on Mobile Self Service Application and related back-end Architecture including string Understanding of
• Web-App-DB tier architecture and
• Webservice & Queue based Interfaces.
Excellent Understanding & Hands-on
• Deployment knowledge on Webservers like TOMCAT, APACHE, Web-logic.
• Good understanding of JMS based Messaging.
• SOAP, JSON, XML interfaces
• Oracle & SQL including PL/ SQL.
• Shell Scripting & Perl Scripting
Good To Have
• Knowledge on ITIL.
• Basic understanding of
• Telecom domain and other integrated applications like Billing Systems, EAI/ Messaging platforms, Payment gateways.
• OpenShift Platform, ELK
