Leidos is seeking a summer intern with a Business Administration or Computer Science background to join our team in support of the SMIT contract, the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract, Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, the Leidos team will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.  This position will support the Program Transformation Office, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, synergies and new solutions. The successful candidate will support Windows desktop, supporting software, and hardware systems.

Primary Responsibilities

Contribute to the Program Transformation team’s projects through transformational change documentation, competitive research, pricing strategies and overall business support.Participate in the planning and tracking of strategic programs.Support the development and maintenance of documentation, checklists, and proceduresCollaborate with external customers, management, subcontractors, vendors, and other engineering disciplinesComply with ITSM processes and procedures

Basic Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree program as a Business Administration or Computer Science (or similar) major with graduation planned in 2026 or laterGPA 3.0 or betterExperience with Windows 10/11 and understanding of desktop administration and managementExperience with technical documentation, compliance reviews, and change managementAbility to obtain a security clearance

Pay Range:Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
