YOUR IMPACT

Our robust, award-winning Summer Internship Program welcomes the best and brightest from colleges and universities across the US and abroad to join us each summer. Spanning sectors, business lines, corporate groups and geographies, our interns spend the 10-week internship program working with CHA’s top thought leaders and colleagues on their teams – taking part in individual, group projects, planned social events, and working alongside one another in the office or field, connecting with peers, and having some fun too!  The connections you make during your CHA Internship can play a critical role as you complete your studies and transition into your professional career.

 

Architecture

CHA's architects envision buildings that will have a lasting impact by providing architectural design, interior design and planning that is focused on the people who will live, work, learn, grow and expand their horizons in these spaces. Our architects and designers seek to create high-quality, collaborative designs that stress innovation grounded in careful listening to functional needs and tailored to culture and specific organizational needs. At CHA, architects and engineers work together to create solutions that endure in the built environment.

 

Aviation Planning

CHA provides aviation master planning and a full complement of related services to give airport leaders a clear path forward as they plan for the future to meet a variety of stakeholder needs.  We have the capability to provide airport planning, development and programming design, obstruction evaluation, and project cost estimating.

 

Construction Management

CHA manages construction projects to successful completion.  Our team will consult on assembling the full project team, including onboarding the contractor and managing the construction through to stabilized occupancy. Our project managers will oversee budgets and schedules and provide onsite representation with keen eyes and ears on every aspect of the design and construction. We’ll ask the right questions, help determine the best delivery methods, provide solid recommendations, report on progress and decision points, and bring in additional services and reviews when required.

 

Environmental Engineering

CHA’s engineers, ecologists and scientists’ partner with clients to develop practical solutions that strike the right balance between environmental sustainability, community needs and cost. We’re uniquely qualified to assist with environmental services from initial site characterization through remediation.  CHA draws on the expertise of technical professionals with decades of practical experience in environmental site assessment, brownfield remediation, and mitigation techniques.

 

GIS

The CHA team is always innovating by asking ourselves if there’s a better way. Our goal is to leverage technology platforms across the spectrum of new advances to deliver scalable and user-friendly solutions that efficiently manage and interpret critical data – elevating workflow efficiency while boosting user productivity. Our technology solutions span markets and sectors, delivering information and energizing design and management teams – sparking the imagination and optimizing results.

Architecture

Working towards a degree in Architecture Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited Bachelor or Graduate program.Completed one full year of college (rising sophomore).Candidates going into their junior or senior year of college are preferred.May 2025 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship program.Experience with Microsoft Office required.Must possess the ability to work in a team environment.Good oral and written communication skills required.

 Aviation Planning

Working towards a degree in Planning, Engineering, or related Aviation disciplineAttending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited Bachelor or Graduate program.Completed one full year of college (rising sophomore).Candidates going into their junior or senior year of college are preferred.May 2025 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship program.Experience with Microsoft Office required.Experience with AutoCAD preferred.Must possess the ability to work in a team environment.Good oral and written communication skills required.

 Construction Management

Working towards a degree in Construction ManagementAttending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited Bachelor or Graduate program.Completed one full year of college (rising sophomore).Candidates going into their junior or senior year of college are preferred.May 2025 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship program.Experience with Microsoft Office required.Must possess the ability to work in a team environment.Good oral and written communication skills required.
