What will your main responsibilities look like?
In this role, you will be expected to:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impactAct as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplinesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programsReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factorsMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with key senior team members to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goalsLead projects, team members, or serve as a peer mentor.
What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?
Extensive experience with React.js, Typescript & State Management via Redux ToolkitStrong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Extensive experience Component-Driven DevelopmentWell versed in responsive design and implementationStrong general understanding of UI design principles and best practicesExperience in writing code compliant with modern accessibility (e.g. ARIA, WCAG, etc.)Solid understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, API Gateway, and CloudFormation etc.Experience with relational databases, preferably Postgres and RDS.Experience with Developing RESTful APIs, preferably using .Net CoreFamiliarity with DevOps driven approach via CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.Experience with multi-tenancy architecture SOLID, DI/IoC, CI, DDD software design principles.Experience with Event-Driven - Message Queue/Service Bus & Database version controlExperience working in an agile development cycleStrong Experience with designing and writing code, performing code reviews, mentoring, enforces coding guidelines/best practices, developing technical documentation and becomes a key contributorAble to give and receive honest, constructive feedback to othersDependable team member in meeting delivery dates with strong organization skillsSolution-oriented with superior attention to detail to QA your own work, including cross-browser, cross-platform, and performance testingProficient in Git version control and establishing engineering best practices.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of experience in Software Development 5+ years of experience modern Front-end development 5+ years working on Software as a Service (SaaS) and multi-tenant applications1+ years of proven experience as a technical leader or Sr Lead Engineer in a fast-paced start up environment.Ability to manage several requests simultaneously and to work under pressure in a dynamic and stimulating environment.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.Ability to drive technical initiatives and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.A strong communicator and collaborator to effectively work with both technical and non-technical peersUnderstanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
