Job Summary:

As we expand our customer deployments, we are currently seeking an experienced SRE to deliver insights from massive scale data in real time. Specifically, we are searching for someone who can bring fresh ideas and enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences in every interaction.

Objectives of this Role

Aware of Site Reliability Concepts and mindset. Knowledge on SRE implementation knowledge across SRE key focus areas Run the application environments by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large, distributed software applications Perform DevOps tasks such as building pipeline and monitoring pipeline jobs Create ansible playbooks for performing configuration management Troubleshoot application issues alongside development and testing teams

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding Partner with development and platform teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Must have at least 7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, and a proven track record in Agile Software Development and Test-Driven Development (TDD).Ability to program (structured and OO) with one or more high level languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, Powershell, and JavaScriptFamiliarity with best practices in Infrastructure & Cloud Security, specifically in the context of DevSecOps.Experience with deploying APIs for tooling integration is necessary.Proficiency in using various DevOps Tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory is essential.Demonstrated expertise in various areas, including: Writing automation scripts using scripting languages like Python, Shell/Power scripting, and Groovy. Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, including Pipeline as Code and Shared Libraries, as well as knowledge of containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Sound knowledge of both Linux and Windows Operating Systems, including file permissions, network configuration, services, and process manipulation. Good understanding of database fundamentals, including schemas, tables, permissions, and SQL. Familiarity with networking, TCP/IP, and other common communication protocols.Analyze error reports, incidents, and identify recurring patterns using Azure App Insights, AppDynamics, Full Story, and ELK Stack to drive continuous improvement and enhance system reliability.Experience in the insurance industry will be an added advantage.Experience with DuckCreek platform is a huge plus.
