Informatica developer will be responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting Informatica interfaces. Integration projects and implementation of new applications both upstream and downstream of project require new interfaces to be built. Most of these interfaces are built using Informatica and use Robot for scheduling. Support activities include handling job failures, debugging data issues, root cause analysis of failures and working with business and interface IT partners to fix, restart or reprocess. Support also includes performing test runs for interface partners, generate relevant test results & reports and responding to outages. Continuous process improvements are carried out to enhance error handling, change rules & mappings, increase automation, and reduce incident count. The Informatica senior developer will be expected to not only provide technical leadership to offshore team but also be able to interact with business and IT partners outside of the core team.  

This is senior techno-functional role and responsibilities are as follows: 

Be a team player  

Develop or learn existing interfaces and take up support responsibilities 

Work with business and IT partners to enhance existing interfaces and design, build & implement new interfaces 

Improve support activities through root cause analysis, standardization, automation, notification, escalation, and reporting. 

DevOps experience. 

5+ years of prior experience in Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange 

Ability to work with onshore team including handshakes for smooth transition of activities 

Must have good communication skills and ability to work with people from Finance and IT 

Deep experience in analysis, design, documentation, development, testing, debugging, implementing, tuning, and troubleshooting ETL mappings, sessions, and workflows 

Experience in Informatica, Oracle SQL, Unix and Autosys; Aptitude experience a plus 

Ability to handle pressure during significant job failures and focus on speedy recovery 

Flexible, pro-active, and innovative with an attitude of continuous improvement  

Insurance industry experience would be a plus
