As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in leading and managing a team of software developers. The Technical Lead will be responsible for the underlying architecture of the program and act as a mentor for new software developers as well as other members of the team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Contributes to software development tasks, including coding, debugging, and troubleshooting Develops high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements Performs analysis and software architectural design of the application Establishes the technical vision with the development team and works with developers to turn it into reality Establishes processes and standards of best practices in software development Provides technical advice and options to management and provides programming perspective on requirements Collaborates with other team members and junior developers to ensure projects are finished on time Provides technical guidance to coach and mentor team members; provides performance feedback to managers Provides and receives feedback to and from developers in order to promote growth and development Maintains a productive and motivated working environment for development teams Assists with recruiting, onboarding and training new team members as required Performs other duties as assigned/necessary Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience 5-8 years of experience as a Software Engineer A proven track record in software engineering, with expertise in one or more programming languages Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices Ability to lead and influence peers Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required Ability to handle risk and manage change comfortably Ability to communicate complex ideas and influence others in a tactful and diplomatic manner Strong analytical problem solver with attention to detail Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to be “Hands-on” in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to effectively elicit/provide information in a user friendly language Strong communication (oral and written) and consultative skills Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative matrix environment
