The Guidewire Policy Center Technical Lead plays a pivotal role in crafting and executing solutions with the platform's latest advancements. Responsibilities: * Design and implement robust, scalable solutions using Guidewire Policy Center v10 to meet business requirements * Translate intricate business requirements into technical solutions within the Policy Center framework * Conduct product modeling reviews, oversee technical design, and configuration for new product rollouts * Stay updated with the latest features of Guidewire Policy Center v10 and evaluate their relevance and utility for the organization * Uphold best practices in architecture and design within the Guidewire ecosystem * Customize and improve products, user interfaces, workflows, and business rules using Guidewire Studio * Utilize available accelerators to expedite development and reuse established architectural patterns * Oversee application configurations, releases, and software upgrade processes, both minor and major * Maintain development environments and manage coding branches effectively across various product lines * Provide mentorship to development teams, ensuring technical leadership, project allocation, and oversight * Coordinate with stakeholders and lead development teams, both onshore and offshore, to ensure timely delivery of solutions * Use project lifecycle management tools like TFS to maintain transparency in development activities * Collaborate closely with Project Management and Analysis teams for requirement understanding, scoping, and planning * Advise the QA team on potential impacts to facilitate adequate test case development
