Job Summary:
The Technical leader supports the operation and enhancement of system integration and middleware solutions globally across all functional areas for Trane Technologies. This position is part of the Residential and Supply IT team working with various locations around the world to support business solutions and systems that are used for RES and Supply business. Candidate should have operational support, development, governance, or related experience.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee operational support to RES and Supply NON-ERP applications 8x5 and lead and govern the AMS support team.
· Serve as Liaison between application managed service (AMS) vendor and Trane team development/Security/Audit teams.
· Review audit tasks and standards to ensure NON-ERP applications and processes are compliant.
· Provide assistance to both technical and business users in identifying and resolving system issues.
· Drive Change Management to enable sustaining operations post-Project Go Live
· Planning and coordinating migration activities with all the key stakeholders.
· Reviewing and approving project documentation for all new/changed business processes.
· Review root cause analysis and assist in efficient resolution of all production incidents.
· To lead the definition of operation process, standards, and tools in alignment with operational excellence Trane Technologies
· To lead the advancement of the Trane Business Operating System (BOS) as an operating model within the RES and Supply function
· To ensure solutions are complete from an end-to-end perspective, govern design and architecture principles, govern information security principles, and establish and report on system performance and service levels.
· Support the Analysis, Planning, Design, and Implementation of solutions, including upgrades/migrations from legacy and/or non-Oracle platforms.
· Review operational excellence with continuous improvement activities.
· Partner with application systems to fix defects through the full life cycle of software development, including requirement and risk/benefit analysis, effort estimation, acceptance testing, implementation, and stabilization.
· Contribute to the knowledge repository to help ensure that information is disseminated.
· Ensure ongoing operations remain within the established SLA.
· Participating in code reviews and architecture reviews to assess the new development is done as per standards.
· Lead and participate in disaster recovery planning, design, implementation, business impact analysis, vulnerability assessment, continuous process improvement and contingency planning.
· Demonstrate excellent verbal and written customer service skills through all levels of communication.
Qualifications:
· 10 or more years of experience supporting or developing using Oracle, Mendix with hands-on working experience.
· Experience in supporting and developing Data Analytics (Google Cloud)
· Expert knowledge of PL/SQL development and support requirements
· Experience troubleshooting, performance tuning, testing applications and environments.
· Must have experience of Google Cloud and PL/SQL and Mendix development.
· Experience in migrations, deployments, and upgrades is required.
· Working knowledge of Incident Management and Change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management
· Hands-on experience of UNIX or LINUX or .NET systems
· Ability to work on high-priority issues, high-priority be capable to prioritize issue during multiple issues.
· Ability to work in a team and demonstrated capability to involve all team members for support and maintenance in an application.
· Possess excellent communication skills, presenting, listening, and informing. Able to communicate, up, down and across the organization.
· 4 years Bachelor of Computer Engineering Degree is required.
