Technical Lead/Team Leader- Endpoint Management

HOW AN TECHNICAL LEAD/TEAM LEADER – ENDPOINT MANAGEMENT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Lead a team to provide endpoint computing services to multiple NIH Institutes and Centers.Manage multi-year budget requests to leverage Capital Investment Funds (CIF) to enable the NIH to adopt emerging technologies.Excellent verbal and communication skills with the demonstrative ability to work with all levels within the organization.Coordinate with IT teams and other parts of the organization to evaluate and oversee access rights of all endpoints; and apply NIH security policies and tools that will reduce the risk of an attack.Perform tasks to improve the efficiency and reliability of the computing environment, including process improvement, automation, and technical solutions.Implement and adhere to IT security protocols and guidelines.Monitor and respond to vulnerabilities reported through Tenable Security Center and other utilities.Research and evaluate new security technologiesStay current on existing cybersecurity risks and threats facing health organizations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education

Bachelors degree in a technical or related field.

Required Experience:

More than 5 years of IT management experience with an active IT management certification (ITIL Intermediate, CCMP or CAPM, etc.).

Required Skills & Abilities:

Windows and macOS application packaging and deployment, using large scale system management tools to manage software deployments for a user base of approximately 2000 internal and external customers.Ability to correctly read and interpret Windows system, application logs and third-party application log files.Knowledge of batch file scripting, Windows PowerShell Scripting, Visual Basic scripting and Bash/Shell Scripting.Experience using Tenable Security Center.Experience complying with security standards to include managing patches, updates, and antivirus solutions manually.Excellent verbal and communication skills with the demonstrative ability to work with all levels within the organization.Ability to perform independently and under pressure of time constraints with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to understand technical vision and communicate it to both technical and non- technical parties.Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Ability to make quick decisions and resolve complex technical problems efficiently in a high-pressure environment.Experience implementing effective strategies to improve IT efficiency and organizational processes.Experience managing devices using platforms such as JAMF, BigFix, or Intune.Experience working with change control in a large enterprise environment

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
