We a problem solver who has led development efforts in support of multiple stakeholders and is able to clearly communicate to client leaders and technical architects. Must be able to adapt quickly to incorporate new priorities based upon evolving Federal policies. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** • Work with client leadership to capture business initiatives and translate them into technical requirements • Lead product definition discussions and document business requirements, process flows and business rules • Lead the technical design and architecture for system enhancements and new system features • Evaluate new technologies (including open source, COTS and cloud services) for use in delivering software solutions • Lead CIRT (Computer Incident Response Team) incidents to coordinate resolution of production issues • Perform root-cause analysis to diagnose and resolve production issues • Work with other teams to coordinate integration testing across multiple (more than 3) teams • Manage and mentor junior staff members • Provide direction during daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos and other Agile ceremonies **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** • 8+ years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on development projects using Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban • 4+ years of experience developing with Java and Spring Boot • Experience developing in MuleSoft 4 • Experience developing solutions using AWS RDS MySQL • Experience with SQL and JSON • Experience deploying applications to AWS • Experience of RESTful API-based applications • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: • Experience with Alfresco • Strong Excel skills • Experience with Splunk • Experience developing in Angular or other JavaScript frameworks • Experience with messaging technologies, such as ActiveMQ and Kafka CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
