Responsibilities

Project Management

Design Chemical Treatment Projects and monitoring plan Prepare, plan and allocate resources inclusive of equipment and manpower Prioritise the workload, seeking input from relevant stakeholders. Communication with stakeholders on project status, review & approve final output    

 

Staff & Team Management

Agree timelines and coordinate the supporting team                                                        Regular team meetings to review and analyse the projects                                                          Performance reviews with the team individually                                                               Ensure that team members are competent and receive the appropriate training, support and mentoring  

 

Product Line Management

Maintaining product line and all relevant regulatory and technical data                                                     Research and Product development as per market needs & trends                                                          Address any internal and external queries regarding product line                                                 Ensure relevant product literature is available

 

Customer & Marketing Support

Attend and present at customer meetings  Attend industry conferences, contribute to technical workshops Assist with technical queries, peer review & troubleshooting 

 

Safety and Environmental Compliance

Ensure that all lab and site activities are undertaken according to company HSE policy and Legislation       Ensure that safety control measures are applied and PPE is worn Raise safety observations / report incidents, accidents and near-misses Undertake workplace inspections, audits and review of HSE policies and procedures                                      
 

Requirements

Bachelor’s in chemical engineering. Minimum 8 +years of industry experience in the discipline of Production Chemistry. Specific knowledge & experience of the relevant product lines. Standard chemicals modelling software,  test methods and field applications. Supervisory experience and ability to manage a team. Presentation skill
