Technical Manager

Job Description:

The Technical Manager leads a team that drives end-to-end technical performance in the area of asset management, assuring maximum value creation as part of the site's master plan. The job holder will work with the Plant Leadership Team (PLT) and global functions: Asset Management, Engineering, Process Innovation, and Centers of Excellence (COEs). The Technical Manager will oversee the asset management program, energy reduction initiatives, and engineering projects, ensuring maximum efficiency and capacity of existing assets.

Responsibilities:

•\tSet and adhere to the budget for all asset and facility-related spending for the site.

•\tBuild a high-performing team and formalize long-term development and succession plans.

•\tManage capex projects according to available standards in coordination with suppliers, global functions, and operational streams.

•\tHold accountability for the engineering master plan and execute line and asset-related technical improvements in line with asset management policies and global standards.

•\tLead standardization of maintenance procedures, asset life cycle management, and Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) intelligence systems, driving the digitization journey.

•\tManage the capabilities development plan of the team while aiming for world-class cost control, zero breakdowns, and ensuring permanent compliance with food safety, environmental, and quality measures.

•\tAssure business continuity, lead the site's carbon footprint reduction program, and reduce energy costs through optimal use of utilities and technology.

•\tParticipate in technology platforms and share equipment-related knowledge to foster standardization and efficiency.

•\tOversee the execution of maintenance for utilities equipment in line with suppliers’ recommendations, global standards, and local legislation.

•\tOversee the execution of maintenance on facilities (buildings, roads, security, waste flows, etc.) while assuring people safety and food safety on-site.

Qualifications:

•\tBachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field.

•\t5+ years' experience leading and managing Maintenance & Engineering teams.

•\tExperience working in a Food & Beverage manufacturing environment (preferred), or other FDA regulated facility.

•\tUnderstanding of food product manufacturing and operational protocols (e.g., GMP, HACCP).

•\tTechnical understanding of various types of equipment, systems, and facilities.

•\tExperience with Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar operating systems.

•\tExperience in Project Portfolio Management.

•\tKnowledge and experience of digital systems supporting maintenance and engineering.

•\tComfortable working with Microsoft and Google applications.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00
