Caterpillar’s Building Construction Products (BCP) division is **hiring two Technical Marketing Communicators** to assist in the coordination of global, customer-facing technical marketing materials and visuals for products, technology, and services detailing value, differentiation, and benefits. **What You’ll Do** + Coordinate, develop and manage technical marketing materials for the Building Construction Products Division on a global level. + Work with multiple construction equipment product groups to develop key core content materials. + Drive the creation of materials for product launches including both dealer-facing and customer-facing literature. + Responsible for online product content on internal and external websites. + Responsible for coordination and management of all product video and photo shoots. + Development of interactive product overviews and videos that showcase the power of the division’s product lines. + Manage product content within the various Caterpillar systems and applications on a global level, including database management of technical information. + Ensure all product marketing materials are updated and accurate. + Work with key groups both within the division and the corporation around the globe to deliver materials that differentiate Caterpillar in the marketplace. + Represent the division on corporate initiatives related to product sales support materials and processes. + Display an understanding of corporate processes and systems and adapt as technology changes. **What You Have (Skills)** + **Technical Writing:** Ability to write materials for both technical and non-technical audiences; drafts, corrects and finalizes technical writing tasks independently; adheres to company documentation and quality standards that are related to technical writing. + **Customer Focus:** Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvement. + **Creativity:** Contributes to and encourages new ideas; builds on suggestions of others. + **Effective Communications:** Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. + **Relationship Management:** Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other teams, vendors, and peers. + **Vendor/Supplier Management** : Ability to build effective working relationships with counterparts in vendor or supplier's organization. + **Value Selling:** Ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs. **Top Candidates Will Also Have** + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and accuracy while managing multiple concurrent projects. + Excellent writing skills and the ability to translate technical information into customer-friendly language. + Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a strong attention to detail. + Database management skills. + Bachelor's degree combined with relevant post-grad work experience. **Additional Details** + Work location: Cary, NC + Caterpillar operates in a hybrid work environment which requires 3 days per week of in-office work. + Domestic relocation assistance is available for this role. + We are currently hiring 2 roles. **Summary Pay Range:** $95,640.00 - $143,520.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
