Summary

We seek a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Marketing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our engineering and marketing teams, translating complex technical concepts into compelling marketing content and enabling our sales force with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. You will be a key contributor to product adoption and market awareness for our networking solutions.

Detailed Description Content Creation: Develop technical marketing content, including white papers, technical briefs, solution guides, presentations, blog posts, and website content. Create and deliver technical demonstrations, webinars, and videos showcasing product features and benefits. Collaborate with product management and engineering to ensure accurate and up-to-date technical information. Sales Enablement:  Develop and deliver technical training and presentations to sales teams, partners, and customers. Create competitive analysis and positioning documents.  Provide technical support for sales and marketing activities, including customer meetings and trade shows. Build and maintain demo environments.  Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:  Research and analyze market trends, competitive products, and customer requirements.  Provide feedback to product management and engineering on market needs and product improvements. Monitor and report on competitor activities.  Product Launches:  Support product launches by developing technical marketing materials and conducting training sessions. Act as a technical subject matter expert during product launches. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers and partners to understand their technical needs and provide solutions. Participate in customer forums and industry events.  Gather customer feedback and relay that information to the product team. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Strong understanding of networking technologies, including routing, switching, security, network management, orchestration, provisioning, and telemetry. Knowledge of GPU and dense storage technologies is a plus Experience with the SONiC Network Operating System (NOS)  Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, VXLAN OSPF, ROCEv2, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.   Strong presentation and public speaking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with creating and delivering technical demos and webinars. Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools. Certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar certifications is a plus. Desired Skills: Experience with scripting languages (Python, etc.) Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with network virtualization and software-defined networking (SDN). Typical Experience Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical marketing, sales engineering, or a related role within the networking industry. Typical Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience. Notes

Location: This is a remote position, with travel as necessary. We are open to considering candidates close to any of our US locations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Oregon or California as well as locations near major airports such as the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Pacific Coast.
