Technical Office Intern
As a Technical Office Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with multiple plant managers and engineers in the development of a Master Inventory of Technology in our plants. + Opportunity to learn the large variety of equipment needed to produce Asphalt shingles, Glass mat and granules. + Gain hands-on experience in teamwork and collaboration with multiple plants and Original Equipment Manufacturers + Work closely with departmental managers to understand their specific challenges related to existing equipment. + Assist in the implementation and configuration of a Master Inventory of Technology, ensuring the information is not only accurate but appropriate in content and form to drive decisions in terms of investment and standardization. + Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of project management. + The internship will be mainly in Malvern with 1-2 days trips to our Certainteed Roofing plants. **Qualifications** + Enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, etc.). + Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. + Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work within established timelines. + Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
