Job Title: Technical Officer – FSSC 22000 & FSMS / ISO 22000
Location: Hybrid - Manchester (M22 5PR) - open to other locations for the right candidate, must be UK based

About the Role
To perform technical reviews (including Audit files, Certification Application, Auditor’s competence) and certification decision of FSSC 22000 & FSMS / ISO 22000 Schemes related certifications in compliance with Scheme owner, Accreditation, BV CER MS and FSSC 22000 & FSMS / ISO 22000 standard’s requirements.
Main Responsibilities include:
Review and evaluate, using appropriate checklist, the technical content, accuracy, and relevance of audit report. Identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement in audit reports. Provide feedback to Auditors and Certification Decision Makers. Able to Makes certification decision for products for which he/she is authorised for. Able to review Auditor’s competence according to defined criteria. Able to review Certification applications according to defined criteria. Collaborate with other Technical Reviewers to ensure consistency and alignment. Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of their review activities and recommendations. Maintain all relevant documentation using various tools, e.g CMX, SharePoint, etc.
About You
Experience & Skills
Solid experience working in the food industry. Third party auditor qualification Experience of third-party GFSI auditing. Relevant experience of ISO 17021, IAF Mandatory Documents implementation or auditing. Able to work as a team
Qualifications Required:
Degree in food-related or bio-science discipline Third party GFSI scheme FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000 Trainings in current version at auditor level e.g. IRCA 5 days course with successful completion. Training - Accreditation Requirements (ISO 17021) and familiarity with ISO 22003 requirements. HACCP training – minimum of 2 days
