**Overview**
The Facilities & Infrastructure Operations Division is responsible for plant engineering, plant energy and utility operations, and facility operations for the South campus and leased facilities, North Campus and Infrastructure Operations, the Physical Science facility, and the 300 Area. In addition, the Division oversees campus infrastructure such as fabrication and craft services, duplicating and mail services, relocations, receiving, distributed services, and maintains operations of roads, grounds, and utilities for the campus.
**Responsibilities**
Responsible for evaluation and interpretation of regulations to ensure the technical aspects/content of required documentation for PNNL facilities meets the intent of local, state, and federal requirements. Support development/revision and implementation of resulting processes, practices and procedures. Investigates and resolves compliance issues/questions received from PNNL management or staff. Perform assessments of assigned program elements to ensure that requirements are flowed down into HDI work controls and deployed effectively in the field. Analyze the data collected during these assessments to determine strengths and weaknesses, causal factors, root causes, and recommendations for improvement. Responsible for maintaining the Laboratory's Facility Use Agreement (FUA) process and technical bases for the operating boundaries of PNNL facilities. Develop and maintain working relationships with PNNL staff and all levels of PNNL and DOE.
The Integrated Facilities and Program Support team in the Facilities & Infrastructure Operations Division is responsible for providing standards and guidance for facilities and operations processes, continuously improving operational performance, and informing risk management decisions by managing and implementing programmatic requirements and managing business systems. We are seeking a Technical Operations and Assurance Specialist – Systems Support to contribute to PNNL’s Facility Management, Management & Operations Program operational business systems implementation team.
+ Knowledgeable on website design and content management.
+ Manages software system permissions and access.
+ Manages and maintains software system licenses based on business needs.
+ Develops and provides software support documentation and training to end users.
+ Provides customer support to business software system users.
+ Works on complex problems relating to multiple software system platforms, integrations and provides innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of the management and operations program systems.
+ Responsible for recommending technical strategies and priorities for software system maintenance and operational performance.
+ Knowledgeable on multiple facility and infrastructure business software systems, translating business process requirements into functional requirements, supporting change management for software system changes and upgrades, maintaining business software system performance, and implementing high-quality software system configuration management principles.
+ Analyzes software system data routinely to identify and recommend improvements; ensures issues and software system failures are investigated, and solutions quickly applied to minimize operational downtime.
+ Validates requirements are deployed and software systems are effectively performing.
+ Provide input into the computerized maintenance management system platform relating to operational business processes, supporting system changes and improvements.
+ Ability to learn, use, and maintain software systems.
+ Experience in coding languages, such as Python.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Qualifications:
+ BS/BA and 2+ years of relevant work experience -OR-
+ MS/MA or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Demonstrated experience developing and managing strong stakeholder/customer relationships.
+ Demonstrated ability to navigate and work well with strong personalities at all levels of the organization – from peers to Director level.
+ Experience with Maximo, Autodesk products including Vault, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power Platform suite.
