**Job Summary**
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to support the evolution of Comcast’s IP Video and Advertising Products. This role will work with business stakeholders to define new video products and develop a product roadmap that drives incremental revenue while maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction. Successful delivery of the product roadmap will require collaboration with architecture and engineering teams and an ability to understand and communicate the latest technical solutions that underpin the video ecosystem. Ideal candidates will be well-rounded and possess an analytical mindset necessary to lead a product portfolio that delivers high customer satisfaction and achieves critical business outcomes.
The Technical Product Management group is a team within Comcast’s Technology and Product Experience organization responsible for defining and delivering video platforms for Comcast’s World Class Video Experiences in use by Comcast and Syndicated Partners. These platforms deliver video for live linear, video-on-demand and cloud DVR services consumed by more than 20 million customers both in-home and out-of-home on set-top boxes, connected tv, mobile and desktop products. Our technical product managers are at the forefront of innovation, participating in lab weeks, demoing new products, leading customer trials, and sharing product insights with senior leaders.
**Job Description**
**Core Responsibilities**
+ Develop solid technical expertise in IP video and advertising products
+ Execute core technical product management responsibilities, including Product Discovery, Definition, Planning, and Strategy
+ Build and maintain strong partnerships across the organization, working closely with Architecture, Engineering, and Program teams to deliver high quality products on time
+ Internalize and represent the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
+ Communicate product needs and strategy to varied audiences
+ Ability to collaborate and influence others outside of their reporting structure
+ Perform competitive analysis and conduct market research.
+ Exercise consistent independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Ideal Requirements
+ Candidates will have a background in technology, with a specific background and knowledge in Video Delivery or Advertising preferred.
+ Candidates will also have experience working with architectural and engineering teams.
+ In depth knowledge of product development lifecycle expected
