Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Product Manager in Dallas, TX. Overview: We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join our team and contribute to the development and delivery of our Angular Upgrade Project for our Client's educator platform. The project aims to upgrade the current application into the most recent version of Angular as a new application. As a Technical Product Manager, you will collaborate with an offshore team (developers, QA engineers, a program manager) and with internal team members (technical product management, engineering, QA, UX, and project management) to ensure the successful delivery of the project. You'll be responsible for managing the backlog, documenting requirements, and ensuring quality through hands-on testing as product reviews. This position will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Platform Technical Management. Responsibilities: * Get familiar with the current application to understand the functionality * Work closely with stakeholders to clarify and document the requirements * Translate the requirements into actionable technical specifications * Partner with technical product management, engineering, QA, and UX teams to align on project goals and technical feasibility * Act as the central point of contact for team questions, providing documentation and follow-ups as needed * Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the project plan * Write detailed user stories, define acceptance criteria, and facilitate backlog refinement sessions * Perform hands-on testing of the new application to validate requirements and identify defects as product reviews * Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage * Collaborate with project management and technical product management to develop delivery plans and identify potential risks * Communicate timelines, risks, and mitigations to project leadership
